Kari Burkholder is a 30-year old divorced mother of two darling boys, ages 5 and 3. She currently lives with her 2 children and loving boyfriend in Overland Park, Kansas where she runs her business out of her home design studio. Kari has always been creative and studied the performing arts as a child and throughout her young adult life until an injury made her change directions. Once engaged to her children's father and trying to save money by creating her own invitations, she discovered her passion for the graphic arts. Kari is a self-taught graphic designer, and has created wedding invitations and stationery for over 80 brides. She always wanted to return to college and get her degree in graphic design, and with the support of her boyfriend, finally got the chance in January of 2010. Now she is pursuing her dream, while raising her kids and struggling to get her stationery business off the ground.
